#SkADaMo - Day 12

Good, bad, or ugly the sketches are going up.  I committed to the daily doodle, so *dagnabit* I am gonna do it.  I haven't posted many of the others because the self-deprecating-defeatist in me has said, 'they ain't good enough'. That kind of defeats the purpose of this month long exercise, though, doesn't it?

So here is little Johnny.

  1. I don't know about the others, but Little Johnny looks good enough to me! :) He looks like he came straight off the set of the film "A Christmas Story" (one of my favorites!)

  2. I agree with Mit! I can hear the little brother whining like Johnny! And, yes, your sketches are GOOD!

  3. Ha ha, he's great! I like what Julie said about him being a whiney little brother! Also, your sketches have been great! But, you know, there are no rules here, just whatever feels right. The fact that you have been inspired to sketch every day is fantastic! Now the next step is to get that confidence up, right? Keep up the good work!

  4. That's the correct attitude, Jen, and I totally understand it. I get afraid every time
I put a gag up for review, and quite a few times they have just bombed, which really brings out the self-doubt. But you have to keep following your heart and do what you love, it's the only way to succeed. You're doing great.

  6. Awww..he's great looking. I adore the little lumberjack outfit he's sporting, just so cute. I totally understand how you feel about posting up sketches. I'm constantly in that kind of battle and I get nervous too when posting things up, thinking it all looks terrible. I think you're doing great thought, Jen AND you're doing what you love to do, you'll find success and the dreams you want in no time, just keep following that lovely heart of yours. <3 <3 You rock!
