I think this might end up being my Christmas card. Turned out a bit different than what I had in my head. That's okay. Maybe my heart felt something else needed to be said.
Hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving.
Ha! That is a great movie. I should introduce it to my daughter! Out family always seemed to pick that trees that never fit our ceiling heights. It is a happy memory.
Ah! So THAt is what little Johnny was pointing at! Really love the composition! And Dad's posture is fantastic! Really great storytelling here, Jen! (Oh - and by the way - haven't even started thinking of my holiday card! You just gave me a virtual kick in the pants! LOL!!)
Love this composition... it sort of reminds me of National Lampoon Christmas Vacation... "Little full, lot of sap". Love that movie :)

DeleteGood idea to watch the flick ladies! The composition reminds me of how it goes down in my family - the kids usually find the best tree!
ReplyDeleteI want a two foot one this year because of the new cat. My daughter wants one that reaches the rafters.
DeleteOh this is so cute! What a wonderful Christmas card. I can just imagine what he is thinking looking up at how tall it is! lol
ReplyDeleteOr that he needs a larger saw. :)
